Super Special Hockey Update from Edinburgh!
Well, as you all know there’s no NHL hockey, yet. So, while I’ve been to a couple Chicago Wolves games, I haven’t been able to go to a top level game in ages.
That all changed.

New Vlog post
Have you ever wondered what I look like?
Ever wondered just why I started watching and loving hockey in the first place?
Do you have some time on your hands you want to use watching something on Youtube that ISN'T a cat video?
Well have I got something for you!

So it has come to this
Unfortunately, with the ongoing labor dispute officially starting a lockout, as of this past Saturday, I will not be able to finish my 30 arenas in the 30 months I had intended.
With the canceling of all the preseason games as of yesterday (Thursday the 27th), along with the lack of negotiations, I haven't been able to make any plans for travel to any of these cities.
In concert with this is the fact that in December, I will be going to the UK (don't worry, I'll see hockey there too, and blog it), and need to save up to have money on the trip. Going along with the post I made last summer about my hidden passion for soccer (football to everyone outside North America), I plan on going to a couple footy (I think that's British slang?) games in the motherland.
But never fret! I will still have hockey in Chicago to go to! Not only can I go to Wolves games (I bought a flex pack over the summer), but the Steel (junior hockey) are close by as well. I could even go to Rockford or Milwaukee if I want to.
I'll certainly try to keep updating the blog as regularly as possible, and if the lockout ends without sacrificing the whole season I definitely want to go to a few cities this year.

Swimming in the Shark Tank
For the next (and, to date, last) stop on my hockeysee, I’ve entered the Shark Tank in San Jose to see the Sharks play the Bruins. Which would be an awesome fight, sharks versus bears.

Crowning the Kings
The next installment of the hockeysee brings me to Los Angeles, the city of angels. To see the Kings, who (of course) won the Cup the year I went. Because I’m that good.

LEGO NHL Figure
Editor's Note: I know, I still need to write legit reviews for Nashville, LA, Anaheim, and San Jose, but I've been busy then lazy.
I do follow other blogs besides my own, one of which is Dave's Geeky Ideas (Link Here). Some time ago, he posted an idea I just had to run with, 3D figures of NHL 94 (95,96,etc) players. Building this actually wasn't difficult, the only reason it took until today is because there was one very specific piece I ended up having to order from LEGO which took over a week and a half to get here.

My picks for the end of the year trophies
Hello all! As this is the last day of the season, it's about time to think about the end of the year awards. Now I've already thought about the Masterton trophy. I did so here. Now I have better lists and the season is (pretty much) over (I'm writing this in between NBC's 3rd and 4th games). Obviously, if you need a refresher on what each trophy is, take a look here. I obviously won't list the awards which are statistical, because they really aren't up for a vote. Now, on to the awards.

Ice Wars: Episode VI
EPISODE VI
RETURN OF THE PREDATORS
After the terrible defeat in nearby Los Angeles, The young Predators must regroup in the suburb Anaheim. They must do so without their best goaltender, as Pekka Solo was frozen in a block of solid ice by the despicable Darth Quick. In his place, young Anders Lindback was forced to pilot the ship for the matchup with the Ducks of Anaheim, the last team they had defeated in the playoffs, even though it feels like such a long time ago.

Ice Wars: Episode IV
Editors note: I will post regular, typical reviews for Nashville, Los Angeles and Anaheim. What follows is a mildly gripping tale of the Predators in their quest for home ice in the first round of the playoffs. Most of the names, places, and events are real, except all the names were changed to seem more like a certain science fiction franchise.

So... I gave March its own logo
This is what happens when 3 of the 4 games this month have one team in them.
Especially a team with a name begging to be turned into this.
So, March is "To Catch The Predators"

Yet another new logo, hopefully transparent.
Ok, hopefully this is (or is at least close to) the final final version of the logo. Soon I can get BUSINESS CARDS!

New Logo Version 2
So I said there would be updates, and lo and behold!
The basic difference is that I decided to make the first 3 a goal with the double bump back (as opposed to the common flat back) that I remember from my young days. Maybe it's a street hockey thing, I'm not sure.
Any thoughts? Suggestions?
Reasons why I think it looks like a fish now?
New logo for the Blog!
So I worked and created a logo for the blog. I think it looks pretty nice. I'll tinker with it throughout, but I like this design.
Also I was in Dallas 2 weeks ago, and I'll write up that post as soon as I can, sorry.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Winter Classic
So, I, as my Twitter followers may know, went to the Winter Classic this year. There really are no words that can adequately describe the event. As such, I'm going to let the pictures do the talking.
